Números Surreais, Lda., headquartered in Guimarães and registered with the Porto Commercial Registry, uses technologies such as cookies to make using the Engram website easier and to tailor its content. Here, we explain what cookies are, what they are used for, and how you can control or delete them.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device, through your browser, during your first visit. When you return to the site on the same device, your browser sends this information back, and the site recognizes that you have already visited and, in some cases, adjusts the content accordingly.

What they are used for

Some cookies make it easier to return to a site you have already visited: they remember your preferences (such as your shopping bag or language), help us understand how the site is used, and make the content more relevant to what you are looking for.

The cookies we use

  • Session cookies: temporary, these remain in your browser until you leave the site. They are used to ensure the site functions correctly and to analyze traffic patterns, which allows us to improve the site's content and usability.
  • Analytical cookies: processed by us or by third parties, these allow us to count users and statistically analyze how the site is used, in order to improve the pieces and services we offer.
  • Advertising cookies: processed by us or by third parties, these allow for better management of advertising by analyzing browsing habits to show ads related to your profile.

Controlling and deleting cookies

You can choose which cookies to accept in the notice that appears during your first visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: most browsers allow you to accept or refuse all cookies, accept only certain types, or be notified whenever a site wants to save a cookie. To learn how, use your browser's help menu or visit aboutcookies.org.
